<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />BRISTOL CORRIDOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA BASE YEAR CHANGE <br /> <br />It was moved by Agency Member McGuigan, seconded by Agency Member Pulido and <br />carried unanimously (4:0) that the Redevelopment Agency adopt Resolution No. <br />89-10 - a Resolution changing the base year for the Bristol Corridor <br />Redevelopment Project Area assessment roll to 1989-90 and ratifying the <br />transmittal of that information to the affected taxing agencies. <br /> <br />AGENCY SECRETARY REPORT <br /> <br />It was moved by Agency Member Pulido, seconded by Agency Member McGuigan and <br />carried unanimously (4:0) that the Redevelopment Agency instruct the Agency <br />Secretary to enter into the Minutes: Pursuant to Government Code Section <br />54954.2, the Agenda for the July 18,1989 Regular Meeting of the Community <br />Redevelopment Agency was posted on the door of the Council Chambers, 22 Civic <br />Center Plaza, at 10 a.m. on July 14, 1989. <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned to Closed Session in Room 147 of the Council Chambers <br />at 5:40 p.m. <br /> <br />The Agency Secretary read the following: <br /> <br />"The Legal Counsel requests that the Redevelopment Agency recess to Closed <br />Session, pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.9(A) to confer to its <br />attorney regarding pending litigation which has been initiated formally, and <br />to which the Redevelopment Agency is a party." The titles of the litigation <br />are: <br /> <br />Community Redevelonment A2ency vs. Federated <br />Community Redevelonment A2ency vs. Matkin et al <br /> <br />Agency Member Griset arrived at 5:45 p.m. <br /> <br />REPORT FROM CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br />The Agency Members returned to the Council Chambers at 5:50 p.m. with all <br />members present including Agency Member Griset. <br /> <br />It was moved by Agency Member McGuigan, seconded by Agency Member Young and <br />carried unanimously (5:0) that the Redevelopment Agency approve the following <br />settlements: <br /> <br />Community Redevelonment A2ency vs. Federated <br /> <br />Settlement in the amount of $1,300,000 <br /> <br />Community Redevelonment A2ency vs <br /> <br />Matkin. et a1. <br /> <br />Settlement in the amount of $16,000 <br /> <br />-2- <br />
