AGENDA ORDER - FEE WAIVER In response to the Mayor's <br />S. A. AMATEUR BASEBALL ASSOC. inquiry for requests from <br />APPROVED the audience for items to <br /> be heard prior to adjournment <br />of the afternoon session, Gary Mendoza, 3114 S. Timber St., answered <br />Council questions on the request for waiver of fees in return for <br />maintenance of the field used by the Association. MOTION was made by <br />Yamamoto, seconded by Luxembourger, to grant a fee waiver in the amount of <br />$619.00 to Santa Aha Amateur Baseball Association for use of Memorial Park <br />Field #1 for specified dates during the months March through August, 1980, <br />with the stipulation that a waiver of the City's liability be effected, <br />in the event of injury to those performing maintenance of the field. <br />(Agenda Item 55) <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto <br />None <br />None CA 52 <br /> <br />AGREEMENT - CENTENNIAL PARK MOTION was made by Griset, <br />CHARLES & DORIS ROSS seconded by Serrato, to instruct <br />EXTENSION APPROVED the City Attorney to prepare <br /> amendment to existing agreement <br />between City and Charles and Doris Ross to extend said agreement to July 15, <br />1980, and authorize its execution by Mayor and Clerk. Lao Family Community, Inc., <br /> presented a report to Council <br /> describing the purposes, goals <br />activities and achievements of the non-profit organization, which pro- <br />vides social services to Indochinese immigrants. Councilman Bricken <br />presented a City emblem tile plaque to Mr. Vangyi in appreciation of the <br />Lao Family's service to the community.
