(Agenda Item 8F) <br /> <br />NOTICE OF EXEMPTION & EX 80-10 - Filed by <br />Vince Crinello to allow on-sale beer and <br />wine in a proposed restaurant (Massino's <br />Pizza) within a shopping center under <br />construction at 2154 S. Bristol Street <br />in the C 2 District. (Agenda Item 8G) <br /> <br />NOTICE OF EXEMPTION & EX 80-12 - Filed by <br />Ahmed Radwan to allow the sale of beer and <br />wine in an existing market at 3312 W. First <br />Street in the C 2 District. The <br /> Council reconvened at 5:40 p.m. <br />and immediately recessed to dinner at the Gin Ling Restaurant, 3644 South <br />Bristol Street. <br /> <br />RECONVENED The meeting was reconvened in <br />INVOCATION the Council Chambers at 7:45 p.m. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE with all members present except <br /> Councilman Bricken. Following <br />the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, the Invocation was given by Captain <br />Alfred Van Cleef, Salvation Army. <br /> <br />COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT Capt. Van Cleef, Commanding <br />SALVATION ARMY Officer of the Santa Ana-Tustin <br /> Salvation Army, presented two <br /> books to the City: "The <br />General Was.a Lady" and "Marching to Glory". He outlined the history of <br />the Salvation Army in this community since 1887, and described current <br />programs and services performed on a daily basis by its members.
