RESOLUTION NO. 80-80 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA OVERRULING THE <br />ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S APPROVAL OF MINOR EXCEPTION <br />APPLICATION 80-6 AND DENYING SAID MINOR EXCEPTION <br />APPLICATION. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, Serrato, Ward <br />Yamamoto <br />None <br /> <br />CA 13.5 <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING - EX 80-12 The Mayor announced that this <br />3312 W. FIRST STREET was the time and place for <br />RES. 80-81 - ADOPTED reconsideration of Negative <br /> Declaration and Minor Exception <br />No. 80-12 to permit sale of beer and wine in a proposed market within an <br />existing service station in the C 2 District at 3312 W. First Street, <br />denied by Council following public hearing on April 21, 1980. <br /> <br />The Senior Planner presented the staff report and recommendations. <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council reported there were no written communications. <br /> <br />Ahmed Radwan, 3312 W. First Street, and his brother, spoke in favor of <br />the Minor Exception. <br /> <br />There were no other speakers. The Mayor closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Following Council discussion, the MOTION made by Luxembourger to approve <br />and file the Negative Declaration and instruct the City Attorney to prepare <br />a resolution approving Minor Exception No. 80-12, affirming the approval <br />of the Zoning Administrator, DIED for lack of a second. <br /> <br />MOTION was made by Yamamoto, seconded by Bricken, to adopt the following <br />resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-81 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA OVERRULING THE <br />ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S APPROVAL OF MINOR EXCEPTION <br />APPLICATION 80-12 AND DENYING SAID MINOR EXCEPTION <br />APPLICATION. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto <br />Luxembourger, Markel <br />None <br /> <br />CA 13.5 <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING - CONDEMNATION The Mayor announced that this <br />938 E. SECOND ST. - PROJECT 1376 was the time and place for the <br />RES. 80-83 - ADOPTED hearing of the public interest <br /> and necessity to acquire by <br />condemnation the real property known as 938 E. Second Street for Project <br />1376 - First Street Widening Project, continued by Council on May 5, <br />1980. <br /> <br />The Director of Public Works reported that as of this date, Jack S. McClure <br />had not submitted a new appraisal to the State Department of Transportation. <br /> <br />There were no speakers on the matter.
