PUBLIC HEARING - APPEAL NO. 415 The Mayor announced that this <br />M.E. 80-16 - 5110 W. WESll4INSTER was the time and place for the <br />DENIED public hearing of Notice of <br /> Exemption and Appeal No. 415 <br />from the Zoning Administrator's denial of Minor Exception No. 80-16 to <br />allow on-sale beer and wine in a proposed market within a retail center <br />located at 5110 West Westminster Avenue. <br /> <br />The Senior Planner presented the staff report and recommendations. <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council reported there were no written communications. <br /> <br />There were no speakers in favor of or in opposition to the Appeal and <br />the Minor Exception. <br /> <br />MOTION was made by Yamamoto, seconded by Bricken, to approve and file the <br />Notice of Exemption and instruct the City Attorney to prepare a resolution <br />denying Appeal No. 415, denying Minor Exception No. 80-16, and affirming <br />the decision of the Zoning Administrator. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto <br />None <br />None CA 13.5 <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING - APPEAL NO. 416 The Mayor announced that this <br />M.E. 80-15 - 302 W. FIRST STREET was the time and place for the <br />CONTINUED TO JUNE 2, 1980 public hearing of Notice of <br /> Exemption and Appeal No. 416 <br />from the Zoning Administrator's denial of Minor Exception No. 80-15 to <br />allow expansion of a mini-market with off-sale beer and wine within an <br />existing service station located at 302 West First Street. <br /> <br />The Senior Planner provided the staff report and recommendations. <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council reported there were no written communications. <br /> <br />John Montevideo, 1200 N. Main, Attorney for applicant, spoke in favor of <br />the Appeal and the Minor Exception. <br /> <br />Council acknowledged receipt of petitions in favor of and in opposition <br />to the Appeal and Minor Exception.
