PUBLIC HEARING - ZONING ORDINANCE The Mayor announced that this
<br />AMENDMENT 80-1 - ORD. NS-1532 was the time and place for the
<br />1ST READING & PUBLICATION public hearing of Negative
<br /> Declaration and Zoning Ordi-
<br />nance Amendment 80-2 to require a conditional use permit for lodging
<br />houses, hotels, motels, care homes, fraternity and sorority houses.
<br />
<br />The Senior Planner presented the staff report and recommendations.
<br />
<br />The Clerk of the Council reported there were no written communications.
<br />
<br />There were no speakers in favor of or in opposition to the Zoning
<br />Ordinance Amendment. The Mayor closed the public hearing.
<br />
<br />MOTION was made by Bricken, seconded by Luxembourger, to approve and file
<br />the Negative Declaration, and place the following ordinance on first
<br />reading and authorize publication of title:
