Waters informed Council <br /> of the Club's intent to give <br />the Santa Ana Public Library a Porta-Tel Communicator with Printer <br />attachment. The Mayor accepted the gift and expressed appreciation on <br />behalf of the Council and those residents of Santa Aha who will greatly <br />benefit from use of the gift. CA 80.7 <br /> CA 56 <br /> <br />SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS Officer Jose Vargas, Santa Ana <br />CITY OF TECATE, MEXICO Police Department, introduced <br /> members of the press repre- <br /> senting various publications <br />providing news coverage to the Spanish-speaking members of the community. <br /> <br />Officer Vargas also introduced members of the municipal government visiting <br />from the City of Tecate, Baja California, Mexico. The Mayor of Teeate, <br />Profr. Perfecto Lara, extended an invitation to the Council and residents <br />of Santa Ana to attend the "Tecate Marches Forward" Exposition and Fair <br />to be held July 3-13, 1980. Profr. Lara presented a plaque commemorating <br />the day Tecate became Santa Ana's sister city to Vice Mayor Bricken and <br />Vice Ma~vor Bricken, in turn, presented a key to the City to the M~or of <br />Tecate in recognition of the visit and as an expression of the "sisterhood" <br />which exists between the two cities. <br /> <br />Each Councilman was presented with an honorarium certificate and a symbolic <br />poster of the noted event. CA 67 <br /> <br />CONTINUANCE - APPEAL NO. 416 The Mayor announced that this <br />M.E. NO. 80-15 - 302 W.
