Mr. Reekstin explained that the <br />property was acquired by the City through a grant deed in lieu of <br />foreclosure. In September 1997, a maintenance and management <br />agreement was initiated with Safely on Shore Ministries, Inc. to use the <br />property as a housing option for abused women and children.
