MOTION was made by Luxembourger, seconded by Bricken, to adopt the following <br />resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-8 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA VACATING AN EAST-WEST ALLEY BETWEEN <br />THIRD AND FOURTH STREETS EXTENDING FROM ROSS TO BIRCH <br />STREETS, ALLEY ABANDONMENT NO. 49. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Luxembourger, Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto <br />Markel <br />Griset <br /> <br />CA 14 <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING - STREET <br />ABANDONMENT #102 - BIRCH ST <br />BETWEEN 4TH & 5TH - RESOLUTION <br />NO. 81-9 ADOPTED <br /> <br />The Mayor announced that this <br />was the time and place for the <br />public hearing of the proposed <br />vacation of Birch Street between <br />Fourth and Fifth Streets. <br /> <br />The Planning Director presented the staff report and recommendations. <br />The Clerk of the Council reported there were no written communications. <br /> <br />There were no speakers on the matter. Linwood <br />Mickey Madden <br />Eve Kreamers, 843 N. Garnsey <br /> <br />There were no other speakers on the matter.
