BROADWAY OVERCROSSING RES 81-8~ As recommended in the report <br />SUPPORT FUNDING IN 81' STATE prepared by the City Manager's <br />TRANS IMPROV PROGRAM - ADOPTED office, dated January 19, 1981, <br /> MOTION was made by Griset, <br /> seconded by Ward, to adopt the following resolution: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />URGING THE ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATIZ)N COMMMISSION TO <br />ACTIVELY PROMOTE FUNDING FOR THE BROADWAY OVERCROSSING <br />AT THE SANTA ANA FREEWAY AS PART OF THE 1981 STATE TRANS- <br />PORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM. <br /> <br />AYES: Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto <br />NOES: None ~x~ ~e'~ <br />ABSENT: Markel CA ~ <br /> <br />SENIOR CITIZEN LUNCH <br />PROGRAM - CONTINUED TO'EVENING <br />SESSION <br /> <br />the Senior Transportation Project. <br /> <br />Tom Noble, Transportation <br />Director, Community Develop- <br />ment Council, spoke in favor <br />of the request for funds for <br /> <br />MOTION was made by Bricken, seconded by Yamamoto, to approve the following: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Matching funds for van operations for the Senior <br />Transportation Project; and <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Appropriation Adjustment No. 119 transferring $16,900 <br />from Revenue Sharing to 11-206-Community Resources. <br /> <br />Motion FAILED on the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Serrato, Ward <br />Luxembourger, Yamamoto <br />Markel <br /> <br />MOTION was made by Luxembourger, seconded by Yamamoto, to continue the <br />item to the evening session. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Luxem~ourger, Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto <br />None <br />Markel <br /> <br />CA 140.6 <br /> <br />AMERICAN BUS SHELTER COMPANY Following the request for <br />AGREEMENT - EXTENDED 60 DAYS extenstion from John Hall, <br /> Vice President, American Bus <br />Shelter Co., MOTION was made by Bricken, seconded by Luxembourger, to <br />extend consideredation of termination on the following agreement <br />for sixty days: <br /> <br />BUS SHELTER PROGRAM - Between City and American Bus Shelter <br />Company for installation and maintenance of ten bus shelters. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto <br />None <br />Markel <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATION John Stevens, 406 Columbine, <br />STREET VACATION PROCEDURES addressed Council regarding <br />REFERRED TO STAFF procedural problems resulting <br /> from agreements between <br />the Redevelopment Agency and developers prior to public hearing and <br />vacation approval by Council in which street vacations were assented to. <br /> <br />Staff was requested to develop written guidelines to alleviate such <br />procedural problems. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 29 JANUARY 19, 1981 <br /> <br /> <br />
