<br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-46 <br />PAGE TWO <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the <br />City of Santa Ana has prepared an Initial Study of the <br />environmental impact of the proposed Agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Agency has reviewed and considered <br />the above said Initial Study and the final Environmental <br />Impact Report for the Santa Ana Redevelopment Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Initial Study conforms to the <br />requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act of <br />1970 (Public Resources Code, Seçtion 21000 et seq.) the <br />"Guidelines for the Implementation of the California <br />Environmental Quality Act of 1970," as amended, adopted by <br />the Secretary for Resources of the State of California, and <br />the procedures for implementation of the Environmental <br />Quality Act of 1970 adopted by Resolution No. 75-4 of the <br />Agency. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMUNITY <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />1. The Agency has considered all the terms and <br />conditions of the proposed sale and hereby finds and <br />determines that the redevelopment of the Property pursuant <br />to the said Agreement is in the best interests of the City <br />and the health, safety, morals and welfare of its residents, <br />and is in accord with the public purposes and provisions of <br />the applicable state and local laws. <br /> <br />2. The said Agreement is hereby approved, and the <br />Chairman of the Agency is hereby authorized to execute the <br />said Agreement and the Grant Deed pertaining thereto. <br /> <br />3. The Executive Director is hereby authorized to <br />take all steps, and to sign all documents and instruments <br />necessary to implement and carry out the said Agreement on <br />behalf of the Agency. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />4. The Agency finds and determines that the <br />Environmental Impact Report (E.I.R.) prepared for the <br />Ana Redevelopment Project is adequate for approval of <br />said Agreement, and that preparation of an additional <br />environmental impact report is not necessary, for the <br />following reasons: <br /> <br />Santa <br />the <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />(a) Implementation of the Agreement does not <br />represent any change in the Redevelopment Project, nor does <br />it involve any new significant environmental impacts other <br />than those considered in the Redevelopment project E.I.R. <br /> <br />It-I'! <br /> <br />2B <br />
