Council reconvened at 9:45 p.m. <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATION <br />GRISET <br /> <br />Councilmember Griset stated that <br />he was willing to reconsider <br />Variance Applications 81-10 and <br />81-13 heard during the afternoon <br />session. CA 13 <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATION Reverend Percy Burton, Second Bap- <br />REV. PERCY BURTON tist Church, Santa Ana, addressed <br />STAFF INSTRUCTED Council stating that his request <br /> for a two-directional sign at <br />Raitt and McFadden had been denied and inquired as to what could be done to <br />appeal this decision. <br /> <br />Staff was instructed to acquaint Reverend Burton with the City's appeal <br />process. CA 13 <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATION Councilmember Serrato requested <br />SERRATO a report from staff regarding <br /> architectural and engineering <br /> contracts awarded by the City, <br />to include administrative policy, rotation policy used, and the percentage <br />of awards made to minority contractors. <br /> <br />Serrato also suggested additional study sessions regarding the budget. <br />The dates on July 18 and July 25 were added to the budget schedule, should <br />they be necessary by unanimous informal consent. <br /> <br />RES. 81-g4 - GRANT AGREEMENT <br />WITH STATE FOR INTERCITY <br />COMMUTER STATION - ADOPTED <br /> <br />MOTION was made by Griset, <br />seconded by Acosta, to adopt <br />the following resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-94 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE <br />A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF <br />TRANSPORTATION FOR $1,924,348 TO CONSTRUCT THE SANTA ANA <br />INTERCITY COMMUTER STATION. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 193 JUNE 15, 1981 <br /> <br /> <br />
