RESOLUTION NO. 82-28
PAGE TWO

.

NOW THEREFORE, THE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The Commission hereby certifies that the
Final Environmental Impact Report for the Santa Ana Inter
City Commuter Station Redevelopment Project has been
completed in compliance with the California Environmental
Quality Act, the State CEQA Guidelines and local procedures,
and that the Commission has reviewed and considered the
information contained in the Final Environmental Impact
Report.

.

Section 2. The proposed Redevelopment Plan is consistent
with the General Plan for the City of Santa Ana and
is a mechanism permitting the implementation of
portions of the General Plan.

.

(b) The public improvements contained in the proposed
Redevelopment Plan mitigate certain potential specific
traffic impacts stemming from implementation of the
proposed Project and are also intended to alleviate
certain existing traffic problems within the Project
Area.
