Governor, Division <br />DAY" "A" Toastmasters International, <br /> and Elaine Rowan, Administrative <br />Vice President, Club 2400, Toastmasters International, proclaiming the <br />month of October, 1981, as Toastmasters Communications Month. <br /> <br />Councilmember Griset presented a proclamation to Ray Allison, Supervisor <br />of Security for Santa Ana Unified School District, proclaiming the week <br />of October 19-26, 1981, as Safe Schools Week. <br /> <br />Councilmember McGuigan presented a proclamation to John Osborn, President <br />of Orange County Chapter of United Nations Association, proclaiming October <br />24, 1981, as United Nations Day. CA 46 <br /> <br />COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT A1Alferos, Executive Director, <br />PACIFIC ASIAN AMERICAN CENTER Pacific Asian American Center, <br /> presented an overview of the <br /> Center's activities, stating <br />that the Center has provided job counseling, job placement, translation <br />and interpretation services, individual and group counseling, and transpor- <br />tation services since 1974. Mr. Alferos said that the largest percentage <br />of clientele reside in Santa Ana. Mayor Bricken presented Mr. Alferos <br />with a City Seal Tile Plaque in appreciation of the services provided <br />by the Pacific Asian American Center.
