ORDINANCE NO. NS-1613 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. NS-1600 TO PROVIDE <br />FOR AN EXCEPTION FROM SAID ORDINANCE FOR ANY PRO- <br />POSED DEVELOPMENT FOR WHICH DEVELOPMENT PLANS HAVE <br />BEEN SUBMITTED PRIOR TO THE DATE OF ADOPTION THEREOF. <br /> <br />Motion FAILED on the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Acosta, Bricken, Luxembourger <br />Griset, Markel, McGuigan, Serrato <br />None <br /> <br />No further action was taken on the matter. <br /> <br />CA 10 <br />CA 85.19 <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATION Janice Boer, 912 N. Lowell, ex- <br />JANICE BOER - COMPLAINT pressed her concern regarding <br />RE: ABANDONED VEHICLES the number of abandoned vehicles <br /> along N. Lowell Street. Deci- <br />sion was made by unanimous informal consent to refer the matter to staff <br />for abatement. <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br />COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> <br />Councilmember Markel expressed <br />his concern regarding the Broad- <br />way Overpass project. <br /> <br />Councilmember Luxembourger requested an update on relief parking lot <br />attendants for the Civic Center parking lot. The City Manager responded <br />that a letter would be sent to the Civic Center Commission. <br /> <br />Councilmember Griset requested the status of the Stewart Roth Appeal <br />relative to Conditional Use Permit No. 81-6. The City Manager responded <br />that the matter would be placed on the January 18 agenda. Councilmember <br />Griset also expressed his concern relative to prohibiting parking of <br />recreational vehicles in residential areas and requested staff investi- <br />gation of the matter. <br /> <br />Councilmember Acosta reminded Council of a canine training session to <br />be held on January 5 at Wickes Lumber Company at 6:30 p.m. He also re- <br />quested the status of the report pertaining to using dogs for police <br />work, and was told by the City Manager that said report would be avail- <br />able by.the end of January. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />By unanimous informal consent, <br />the meeting was adjourned at <br />11:34 p.m. <br /> <br />of theYcouncil / <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 16 JANUARY 4, 1982 <br /> <br /> <br />
