Plaza Drive, Santa Ana. <br /> <br />The meeting was reconvened in the Council Chambers at 7:35 p.m., with the <br />same members present. <br /> <br />INVOCATION <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Church. <br /> <br />Following the Pledge of Allegiance <br />to the Flag, the Invocation was <br />given by Reverend John Wilker, <br />St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran <br /> <br />SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS Mayor Bricken presented a City <br />MR. & MRS. PETER MUTH; Seal Tile Plaque to Mr. & Mrs. <br />AL SALGADO, BOLSA LITTLE LEAGUE Peter G. Muth for their generous <br /> donation toward the construction <br />of an education center at the Santa Ana Zoo. Mayor Bricken thanked the <br />Muths on behalf of Council for their dedicated interest in the City of <br />Santa Ana, and also presented them with a letter from Councilmember <br />Acosta, expressing his appreciation since he was unable to attend the <br />meeting. CA 73B <br /> <br />Councilmember McGuigan presented the key to the concession stand at Rosita <br />Park to A1 Salgado, President of Bolsa Little League, and thanked Mr. <br />Salgado for his hours of dedicated service to the children of Santa Ana. <br /> CA 73B <br /> <br />PROCLAMATIONS Councilmember Griset presented <br />BLACK AMER. HISTORY MONTH; a proclamation to Helen Shipp, <br />RALPH B. CLARK DAY; Chairperson of the Orange County <br />LA HISPANA Black Historical Commission, <br /> proclaiming the month of February <br />as "Black American History Month" in the City of Santa Ana. Ms. Shipp <br />thanked Council and invited everyone to participate in the festivities <br />scheduled during the month of February. A skit was then presented by <br />members of the Commission depicting historical Black American culture. <br /> <br />Councilman Markel presented a proclamation to Orange County Supervisor <br />Ralph B. Clark, proclaiming February 1, 1982 as "Ralph B. Clark" Day in <br />the City of Santa Ana.
