ORAL COMMUNICATIONS Lori Bassett, Chairperson for <br />LORI BASSETT the Golden City Days, extended <br /> an invitation to Council to attend <br /> the first general meeting of the <br />Golden City Days Committee to be held on Thursday, April 8, 1982, at 7:00 p.m. <br /> CA 151 <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS Councilmember Acosta requested <br />COUNCILMEMBERS that Council be given a copy of <br /> the City Manager's correspondence <br /> to the Bowers Museum regarding <br />use of the museum. He also requested that with regard to the letter received <br />from the Hondo Company, that reaffirmation be made of the wages paid on the Birch <br />Park improvement project. <br /> <br />Councilmember Serrato requested a reply on his earlier reference to the <br />purported violations of the Davis-Bacon Act. CA 99 <br /> <br />Councilmember Luxembourger requested that a resolution adopted by the City <br />Council of the City of Orange in opposition to the early release of <br />criminals, be agendized for April 19, 1982. He further requested that <br />the subject of the French Park water tower be agendized for Council <br />discussion. <br /> <br />Councilmember McGuigan requested that a resolution be brought to Council <br />April 19, 1982, affirming the action of the City Council of the City of <br />Westminster commending the Orange County Community Development Council. <br /> <br />on <br /> <br />Councilman Markel commended the Mater Dei High School Band for its fine <br />performance that afternoon at the Plaza of the Sun. <br /> <br />RECESS <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />RECONVENED <br /> <br />Council recessed to Housing <br />Authority at 4:59 p.m., and <br />reconvened at 5:00 p.m. <br /> <br />RECESS At 5:00 p.m., Council recessed <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION to Executive Session, and <br /> reconvened at 5:39 p.m., and <br /> immediately recessed to dinner <br />at Sombrero Street Restaurant, 719 N. Main, Santa Ana. <br /> <br />Council reconvened in the Council Chambers at 7:33 p.m., with all members <br />present. <br /> <br />INVOCATION <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Following Pledge of Allegiance <br />to the Flag, the Invocation was <br />given by Reverend Eugene Koker, <br />First General Baptist Church. <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION <br />NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH MONTH <br /> <br />1982, as "Neighborhood Watch Week. <br /> <br />Councilmember Acosta presented <br />a proclamation to Arla Crandall, <br />President of C.O.P.
