The project site is a 0.48-acre rectangular parcel with frontage <br />along the south side of McFadden Avenue, between Newhope Street and Harbor <br />Boulevard. A single-family dwelling with a detached garage currently <br />occupies the site, which is bounded by a vacant lot to the west, single <br />and multi-family residential to the north, commercial to the east and <br />single-family homes to the south (Exhibits 1 and 2) . <br /> <br />Project Description <br /> <br />The project entails the subdivision of a l80-foot by l16-foot lot into <br />three residential parcels to facilitate the construction of two new <br />single-family dwellings on Parcels 2 and 3.
