Elliot Housel built circa 19121 qualifies for listing on the <br />Santa Ana Register of Historical Properties as a representative example <br />of BunglowjCraftman style architecture (Exhibit 2). The structure is <br />eligible to be placed within the Key category for its distinctive <br />architectural style and quality as illustrated by its side gabled roof <br />wi th rafters exposed at the eaves; sheathing in shingle courses of <br />alternating heights; a recessed porch featuring a brick wall and <br />pedestals spanning most of the fac;ade ; massive brick piers marking the <br />end of the porch; and a series of casement windows featured in the front <br />facade. <br /> <br />Based on findings consistent with the criteria established <br />of the Santa Ana Municipal Code lit is recommended that <br />Resources Commission approve the actions as noted.
