Two <br />days after the bid opening, Los Angeles Engineering requested to be <br />relieved of the bid, stating they had made a clerical error in filling <br />out the bid. After examining Los Angeles Engineering's bidding <br />documents, staff has found sufficient grounds for the relief, and <br />therefore recommends that Los Angeles Engineering's request be granted. <br />The lowest responsive bid was submitted by Ohno Construction, for <br />$814,731, which is below the Engineer's estimate of $840,000. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> <br />Mitigated Negative Declaration No. ER 03-47 was previously prepared and <br />approved for this project and no further analysis is required. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />The funding analysis shows a total estimated construction <br />$1,018,400 for the project (Exhibit 2). Funds are available <br />California State Park Bond Grant (Acct.
