REQ. FOR RECONSIDERATION Following consideration of <br />SALVATION ARMY - APPEAL correspondence received from <br />NO. 470 - VA 82-10 Robert Sondstrom, on behalf of <br />CONT'D TO 11/15/82 the Salvation Army, requesting <br /> continuance of the matter of <br />reconsideration of Appeal No. 470, granted against Variance 82-10 involving <br />lights at the Salvation Army facility at 1719 W. Edinger Avenue, MOTION <br />was made by Serrato, seconded by McGui§an, to continue the matter to <br />November 15, 1982. <br /> <br />Motion passed on the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAINED: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, McGuigan, Serrato <br />None <br />Luxembourger, Markel <br />Acosta <br /> <br />CA 13.3 <br /> <br />Council recessed at 10:12 p.m., and reconvened at 10:20 p.m., with the same <br />members present. <br /> <br />REQ. FOR RECONSIDERATION Council received a request <br />APPEAL NO. 471 - EX 82-19 for continuance from Wallace <br />2302 N. GRAND Davis, attorney representing <br />CONT'D TO 11/15/82 Atlantic-Richfield, of the <br />.... request for reconsideration <br />of the appeal granted against Minor Exception 82-19 to allow off-sale <br />beer and wine in a proposed mini-market at 2302 N. Grand. <br /> <br />Dwight Schroeder, 2332 N. Old Grand, suggested that Council proceed with <br />the matter. <br /> <br />Rudy Montejano addressed Council in Mr. Davis' behalf, stating that he <br />was sure Mr. Davis would not disagree with Council's proceeding, provided <br />he was given an opportunity to rebut. <br /> <br />Pastor Beard, 2121N. Grand, addressed Council regarding the request for <br />reconsideration. <br /> <br />MOTION was made by Serrato, seconded by Acosta, to continue the matter <br />to November 15, 1982. <br /> <br />Motion passed on the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Acosta, Bricken, Griset, McGuigan, Serrato <br />Markel <br />Luxemhourger <br /> <br />CA 13.5 <br /> <br />RENAMING OF HARPER STREET <br />REFERRED TO FACILITY NAMING <br />C~MM. · <br /> <br />Harper Street to Susan Street. <br /> <br />The City Manager and Director <br />of Planning and Development <br />Services presented an over- <br />view of the renaming of <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />371 <br /> <br />NOVEMBER 1, 1982 <br /> <br /> <br />
