~ , -;; - Project Staffing - cont'd The Operations Manager, Patricia Pohl will serve as the project manager for the Santa Ana Crossing Guard Program. Pat started with ACMS in 1994 as the Area Supervisor for the Lake Forest Crossing Guard Program. She quickly proved herself to be an outstanding leader with a compassion for the work that we do. In 1998 she was promoted to Operations Manager. She currently manages 55 Area Supervisors whom oversee all of the Crossing Guazd Programs under our management. Pat will work closely with the new Santa Ana Area Supervisors to train, give direction, answer questions and ultimately ensure their success. She will be the go-to person for any initial problems or issues with the Santa Ana Program. As such, the following synopsis highlights some of her experience and training relevant to crossing guazd management and training. - 2002 to Present Ongoing participation in the Pednet mail-list dedicated to issues of pedestrian safety. Contributors include professional consultants, researchers, government pedestrian coordinators, pedestrian rights activists, walking advocates, elected officials, writers, disability experts, road engineers, planners, and general-interest individuals representing over I S countries worldwide - 2002-OSHA Compliance Conference, Pasadena, Califomia. Successful completion of Seminaz designed to assist employers in bringing greater safety to the workplace. - 2001 to Present -Ongoing cooperative effort with Dr. Sheila Sazkar, Duector Califomia Institute of Transportation Safety (CITS), Dept. of Civil and Environmental Engineering, San Diego State University, San Diego, Califomia Most recently assisted in the development and distribution of the research survey for Crossing Guard safety issues. - 2000 Florida School Crossing Guard Trainer Certification Florida Department of Transportation, Deland, Florida Successfully completed two-day (16 hour) course of study under the direction of the Florida Department of Transportation. Certified as a Trainer for conducting safety training of School Crossing Guards. - 1999-Training the Trainer Seminar, Fred Pryor Seminars, Inc. Oak Pazk, Illinois Successfully completed two-day (12 hour) seminar directed at building an effective approach to training individuals who are then responsible for conducting employee training sessions. - 1998-How to Design a Training Program- Padgett Thompson Seminars, Anaheim, CA Successfully completed one-day seminaz focusing on strategies for developing a successful training program.
