<br />Comment <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />Comment Letter <br />California Regional Water Quality Control Board <br />December 19, 2003 <br /> <br />Response <br /> <br />The Mitigated Negative Declaration prepared for the proposed project <br />includes mitigation requiring the applicant to receive approval of a <br />NPDES Permit for onsite dewatering activities and the discharge of <br />groundwater effluent into the local storm water system. <br /> <br />The Mitigated Negative Declaration prepared for the proposed project <br />includes mitigation requiring the applicant to show proof of coverage <br />under NPDES General Construction Activity Storm Water Permit. <br /> <br />The preliminary hydrology report prepared for the proposed project <br />identifies that the project would increase the surface water flows from the <br />project site by 6.39 CFS. The project site is situated within a developed <br />office center with existing drainage facilities. According to the City's <br />Public Works Department, the existing drainage facilities would be able to <br />accommodate increased surface water runoff from the project site. <br /> <br />Comment Noted. <br /> <br />The Mitigated Negative Declaration prepared for the proposed project <br />includes mitigation requiring the applicant to prepare a NPDES post- <br />construction storm water management plan per the Orange County <br />Drainage Area Management Plan that includes all structural and non- <br />structural Best Management Practices. <br /> <br />See above response. <br /> <br />As mentioned above the Mitigated Negative Declaration prepared for the <br />proposed project includes mitigation requiring the applicant to receive <br />approval of a NPDES Permit for on site dewatering activities and the <br />discharge of groundwater effluent into the local storm water system. <br /> <br />75C-154 <br />
