At 8:05 p.m., the Council reconvened in the Council Chambers with all <br />members present, except Councilmembers Griset and Serrato who joined the <br />meeting at 8:22 p.m., and 8:15 p.m., respectively. <br /> <br />INVOCATION <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Following the Pledge of Allegiance <br />to the Flag, the Invocation was <br />given by Mayor Bricken. <br /> <br />COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT Alicia Cooper, representing the <br />REFUGEE FORUM Refugee Forum, presented an over- <br /> view of the organization, stating <br /> that its purpose was to work <br />together with newly-arrived refugees, helping them to achieve self-sufficiency <br />as soon as possible. Councilmember R. W. First <br />Street in the C2 District, and <br /> <br />installation of one double-faced off-premise advertising pole sign (billboard) <br />at 109-113 N. Euclid in the C2 District. <br /> <br />The Director of Planning & Development Services presented the staff report <br />and recommendations. <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council reported no written communications. <br /> <br />Chris Norby, 979 N. LaBrea, Los Angeles, spoke in favor of the appeal. <br /> <br />There were no other speakers on the matter.
