COUNCIL AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />Councilmember Bricken expressed his concern regarding the need to modernize <br />the Communications Center. The City Manager responded that a report <br />regarding the possibility of moving the Center would be avai]able on <br />June 15. Councilmember Bricken also inquired as to when the Council <br />would see a plan as to how the All-America City emblem would be promoted. <br />The City Manager stated a report would be forthcoming at the second <br />meeting in June. <br /> <br />Councilmember Johnson referred to reports passed out to Council regarding <br />John Wayne Airport, and requested staff start an Operation SNA file, <br />and do a feasibility study on the annexation of underlying land and <br />acquisition of John Wayne Airport for purposes of a profit-making <br />municipal airport. FILE 1010 <br /> <br />Councilmember Acosta inquired as to when a preliminary report on the <br />Cable TV studio would be completed. The City Manager stated he would <br />have a report by June 30. <br /> <br />Councilmember McGuigan reported that the Santa Ana Police Department and <br />the Orange Police Department had tied at the Coper Bowl Game on Friday, <br />May 13, and commended the Santa Ana Police Department and Santa Ana <br />College on a fine job. <br /> <br />Council recessed at 3:36 p.m., and reconvened at 3:52 p.m. in Room 147, <br />with all members present. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />156 MAY 16, 1983 <br /> <br /> <br />
