The Mayor opened the joint public hearing of the City Council and Conmunity Redevelopment Agency regarding the proposed sale by the Conmunity Redevelopment Agency to the CMVenture (A-6 Site/West End Theater). The staff report and recommendations were given by the Director of Community Development. The Clerk of the Council reported no written cormunications. Joe Gilmaker, 308 W. 4th Street, addressed Council, expressing opposition to any possible future closing of Birch Street. There w~re no other speakers on the matter. Staff responded to Councilmembers' questions. The Corm~unity Redevelopment Agency adopted Resolution No. 83-33 with an amendment by Agencymember Young. MOTION: Adopt resolution.
