<br />Fire protection services within the City of Santa Ana are <br />provided by the City of Santa Ana Fire Department. The Santa Ana <br />Fire Department maintains ten fire stations throughout the City. <br />The stations are situated where no location in Santa Ana is <br />outside of an approximate 1.5 mile radius of a fire station. <br />Additionally, the City maintains a Mutual Aid Agreement for fire <br />protection services with the neighboring Cities of Fountain <br />Valley, Garden Grove, Tustin, Irvine and Costa Mesa. According <br />to the City of Santa Ana Insurance Service Organization, the <br />City has a low fire risk rating. <br /> <br />The proposed project would not result in an increased demand for <br />fire protection and emergency services. Through the City's <br />development review process, the fire department has reviewed the <br />proposed project for compliance with the Uniform fire Code. The <br />fire department has indicated they would have the ability to <br />provide adequate fire protection and emergency services for the <br />proposed project. <br /> <br />Police Protection: No Impact <br /> <br />The Santa Ana Police Department would provide police protection <br />services for the proposed project. The Police Department is <br />headquartered at 60 Civic Center Plaza. <br /> <br />The Department is subdivided into four policing districts, with <br />each district serving a section of the City. The proposed <br />project is located within the Southeast Reporting District. <br />Implementation of the proposed proj ect would not increase the <br />demand for police protection services over existing levels of <br />demand within the project area. The Santa Ana Police Department <br />has indicated that under existing levels of manpower and <br />equipment, they would have the ability to provide adequate <br />police protection services. <br /> <br />Schools: No Impact <br /> <br />The project site is within the boundaries of the Santa Ana <br />Unified School District (SAUSD). The proposed project would not <br />generate substantial amount of new students wi thin the SAUSD. <br />Implementation of the proposed project would not result in <br />significant impacts to school services. <br /> <br />Parks, Other Public Facilities: No Impact <br /> <br />Implementation of <br />increase the use <br /> <br />the proposed proj ect would not <br />of existing park facilities or <br /> <br />significantly <br />other public <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br />31A~23 <br />
