The lowest bid <br />was submitted by LH Engineering Company, Inc. for $1,066,976.50, which is <br />above the Engineer's estimate of $747,775. Rising oil prices have <br />affected the price of asphalt and recent increases in concrete prices <br />have resulted in the higher bids. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> <br />After completion of Environmental Review No. 2005-68, <br />74, a Class 1 Categorical Exemption will be filed <br />pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act. <br /> <br />2005-73 and 2005- <br />for the proj ect <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />The funding analysis shows a total estimated construction cost of <br />$1,333,400 for the project (Exhibit 2).
