The work <br />_was closely coordinated with the City of Santa Ana staff -to <br />maintain consistency with surrounding streetscapes. Water <br />points of conn4ection were determined from City as-builts and <br />by inspection in the field. The entire bid package was prepared <br />to allow for the incorporation of a separate adjacent <br />improvement project. <br />• State Route 73 / San Joaquin Hills Transportation Corridor, <br />Orange County, California. Project Engineer responsible for <br />the conceptual, preliminary, and final design of two segments of <br />the San Joaquin Hills Transportation Corridor (SJHTC). The <br />project consists of the development of 3 miles of a toll road <br />with HOV lanes, two interchanges, eight bridges and tunnels, <br />and 2 miles of frontage roads. The work is being performed <br />with adherence to State standards and Caltrans oversight. <br />Services include geometric design, traffic engineering, structure <br />design, and alternative alignment analysis. <br />• State Route 241 / Foothill Transportation Corridor, Orange <br />County, California. Design Engineer responsible for conceptual <br />and preliminary layouts, design calculations, plans, <br />specifications, and estimates to Caltrans standards for the <br />construction of the Alton and Portola Parkway Interchange <br />section of a toll road with HOV lanes through a currently <br />undeveloped hillside area of Orange County. Project Engineer responsible for the <br />preparation of plans, specifications and estimates for 670 -feet of <br />double 10 -foot by 8 -foot -reinforced concrete box culvert.
