David H. Williams, PLS <br />Survey/Right of Way <br />calculated data to field crews; first ever utilization of- EDM <br />—construction methods for all field crews. Mr. Williams was <br />personally responsible for the introduction and operation of the <br />field office computer system. <br />• Routes 10/210/71/57 Four Level Interchange, Pomona, <br />California. Senior Chief of Party, (Multiple Crews), CALTRANS <br />1970 - 1972. Vicinity of Cal Poly University. This project included <br />a portion of Route 10 which was maintained as an open, active <br />roadway throughout the interchange construction process. Also <br />included was a section of Route 57 southerly to Pomona Blvd. <br />(three bridges), and a section of Route 71 southeasterly to Mission <br />Blvd. (three bridges) . <br />• Various Survey and Mapping Projects - Long Beach United <br />States Naval Shipyard, Long Beach, California. Principal in <br />Charge. Various topographic, alignment, settlement monitoring <br />precise leveling and mapping assignments including design, final <br />plans and specifications for reconstruction of 1,800 lineal feet of <br />interior roadway. Design included patching, edge planning, A.C. <br />construction staking and adjustment of all manholes, water valves <br />and utility vaults to grade. <br />• U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Contract No. DACW-91-C- <br />0007, Lower Santa River Channel and Greenville- Banning <br />Channel, California. Principal in Charge. Responsible <br />for all construction staking, quantity surveying and payment <br />r calculations, right -of way and utility locations structure locations <br />and clearances on an extensive flood control improvement project <br />over a year an a half duration. This project required the utilization <br />of multiple crews and instantaneous crew dispatch when areas were <br />released for quantity measurements.
