NORTHEAST ANNEXATION PROPOSAL <br /> <br />The Director of Planning and Development Services reported that staff <br />had conducted a minor survey of the residents in a 25-acre County <br />"island" located north of 17th Street and east of Tustin Avenue, with <br />the result that there was very little interest in annexing to Santa <br />Ana on the part of the residents. Councilmember Bricken suggested <br />annexing the conmercial portions of the island only, and Councilmember <br />Griset indicated that the economics of annexation should be clearly <br />identified. <br /> <br />The Council recessed at 3:02 p.m., and reconvened in Room 147 at 3:18 <br />p.m., with all Councilmembers present. <br /> <br />Councilmembers discussed their concerns relative to Consent Calendar <br />items. <br /> <br />At 3:30 p.m., the Council recessed and reconvened in the Council <br />Chambers at 3:45 p.m. with all members present. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />INVOCATION - Councilme~ber P.
