MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />July 17, 1984 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 5:47 p.m. by Mayor R. W. <br />Luxembourger in City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza. <br />Councilmembers present were John Acosta, Gordon Bricken, P. Lee <br />Johnson, Patricia A. McGuigan, Dan Young, and Mayor Luxembourger. <br />Also present were City Manager Robert C. Bobb, City Attorney Edward J. <br />Cooper, Assistant Clerk of the Council Nancy Byron Dean, and m~nbers <br />of the City's staff, representatives of the press and the public. <br />Councilmember Daniel E. Griset was absent. <br /> <br />2. PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />ADOPTION OF ANNUAL BUDGET, CITY'S CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br />AND GENERAL REVENUE SHARING (GRS) BUDGET FOR FY 1984-85 <br /> <br />The Mayor opened the public hearing on the adoption of the <br />Annual Budget, City's Capital Improve~nent Program and General <br />Revenue Sharing (GRS) Budget for FY 1984-85. <br /> <br />The City Manager presented an overview of the proposed budgets <br />and stated that the changes outlined in his July 16, 1984, m~no <br />entitled '~hanges to Proposed 1984-85 Budget~' were reflected in <br />the Annual Budget proposed for adoption. <br /> <br />The Assistant Clerk of the Council reported no written conmuni- <br />cations. There were no speakers fr~n the public. <br /> <br />The City Manager and the Executive Director of Finance and <br />Manag~nent Services answered questions from the Council <br />concerning the annual budget. <br /> <br />The Mayor closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 289 JULY 17, 1984 <br /> <br /> <br />
