INTRODUCTION OF 1984-86 COUNCIL <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council presented the 1984-86 Council to the audience. <br />ELECTION OF F;kYOR <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council accepted the nomination by Councilm~nber <br />Luxembourger of Daniel E. Griset as Mayor. Motion was then made by <br />Lu×embourger, seconded by Young, to close the nominations. <br /> <br />Motion passed on the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: Griset, Hart, Johnson, Luxembourger, McGuigan, Young <br /> NOES: Acosta <br /> ABSENT: None FILE 120 <br /> <br />Councilmember Griset was elected Mayor, by acclamation, with Councilmember <br />Acosta dissenting. <br /> <br />CHAIR PASSED TO MAYOR BY CLERK <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council returned control of the meeting to Mayor Griset. <br />ELECTION OF VICE MAYOR <br /> <br />The Mayor accepted the nomination by Councilmenber Young of P. Lee <br />Johnson as Vice Mayor. The Mayor accepted the nomination by <br />Councilme~ber Acosta of Patricia McGuigan as Vice Mayor.
