Community Education <br />Hands Are Not for Hitting curriculum: teaches elementary school children and youth <br />nonviolent communication tools, anger management skills and tools to deal with bullying <br />and peer pressure. The program is performed with puppets for the school aged children <br />and uses role-play and interactive dialogue for the older children and youth. <br />I. The counselor will facilitate minimum of (10) presentations. <br />II. The curriculum will be presented in local schools and community groups. <br />Actions and Tasks: Counselor will coordinate with local schools and community agencies <br />to present the curriculum. Counselor will recruit facilities to present by connecting with <br />school principles, liaisons, teachers, and program coordinators. Once connected and <br />dates have been determined, counselor will prepare for group presentation that will <br />include handouts, posters, puppets, and surveys. <br />
