Users should be prompted to enter mandatory <br />data fields as defined by the System Administration. Administratively defined pertinent <br />metadata information will be downloaded with the images to insure authenticity and <br />origin. The PCMCIA card will be rapidly cleared after download. The terminal will <br />prevent the user from disseminating digital evidence via CD/DVD-R, email, or printing. <br />Numerous employees will access these workstations simultaneously; therefore a single <br />workstation software license is far more desirable than a user based licensing criteria. <br />The workstation shall include all necessary operating components and consist of or <br />exceed the following requirements: a Pentium 4, 2.8 GHz processor, one (1) Gigabyte <br />Ram, dual output video card, eighty (80) Gigabyte hard drive, mid -tower case, and one <br />(1) 21" true flat screen CRT monitor. <br />4.2.2 Administrative Download Workstation: An Administrative Download Workstation will <br />possess all aforementioned "Simple" Download/View Workstation functions and will <br />additionally include advanced enhancement capabilities, including the newest version of <br />Adobe Photoshop, advanced digital video augmentation, advanced digital audio <br />enhancement, and a minimum of two 21" Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) or Digital Video <br />Interface (DVI) monitors for viewing. This station shall be able to download images from <br />digital camera phones, as well as acquire images from 35mm and medium format <br />negatives, (using supplied high speed negative and flatbed scanners). Further, it shall <br />possess dissemination privileges including, but not limited to CD -R and DVD -R burn, <br />email, and printing. Printers shall be supplied by the Proposer and include an Epson <br />Stylus Pro 9600 UltraChrome, a Noritsu dDP-621 with film scanner, a HP Color Laserjet <br />4610n, and a Rimage Protdg6 (or equivalent) CD/DVD publisher. Additionally, a <br />desktop film processor will be supplied to develop incoming 35mm negative evidence. <br />The Santa Ana Police Department Forensic Services Section Photo Lab currently owns a <br />Noritsu QSS-2701 SM printer. The ability for the Proposer to facilitate a trade-in of our <br />current printer for the Noritsu dDP-621 printer would be desirable. The Administrative <br />Workstation shall be able to define user restraints and data entry criteria. <br />
