4.4 Warranty <br />All products listed in bid are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. All products carry a minimum of a <br />one-year warranty. Linear Systems DIMS® software includes a lifetime maintenance agreement that covers <br />no charge software fixes and version upgrades. If a unit must be returned to factory for repair, a loaner unit <br />wilt be available (some restrictions apply). Santa Ana Police Department will pay for shipping of product <br />returned to Linear for depot service and Linear will pay for return shipping. The Linear Digital Asset <br />Management Solution and components include a one-year on-site warranty after date of purchase. Linear <br />Systems warrants that the goods and services supplied hereunder will be of good workmanship and of <br />proper materials, free from defects and in accordance with manufacturers specifications. Linear Systems <br />shall perform its services with care, skill, and diligence, in accordance with the applicable professional <br />standards currently recognized by such profession, and shall be responsible for the professional quality, <br />technical accuracy, completeness, and coordination of all reports, designs, drawing, plans, information, <br />specifications, and other items and services furnished under the Contract. Linear Systems shall comply with <br />all applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, codes, and regulations in performing its services. If <br />Linear Systems fails to meet applicable professional standards, Linear Systems shall, without additional <br />compensation, correct or revise any errors or deficiencies in its reports, drawings, specifications, designs, <br />and other items or services. <br />4.4 Services Provided (Statement of Work) <br />Preliminary Consultation <br />Telephone discussions. <br />On-site survey of facilities and equipment. <br />Contact and/or meeting with potential manufacturers regarding support and new technology: <br />Prepare preliminary analysis for evaluation of agency's requirements (in-house documents). <br />Needs Analysis <br />Cost Justification Analysis <br />Two -Year Plan <br />Site Survey <br />Utilization Analysis <br />Workflow Analysis <br />Backu Contingency Plan. <br />Policies and Procedures <br />Provide demonstration/evaluation equipment for testing by Santa Ana PD. <br />Provide list of agencies with similar configurations and installations. <br />Provide sample Policies and Procedures and/or SOP from other agencies. <br />Consultation and review of preliminary Policy and Procedures and/or SOP. <br />Prepare integration plan with existing DIMS® installation <br />Prepare integration plan with existing hardware from additional manufacturers <br />Prepare integration plan for new and existing networks and servers provided by Santa Ana PD's <br />Information Technology Department. <br />Proposal Preparation <br />Review specifications. <br />Contact manufacturers and distributors regarding availability of requested product. <br />Analysis of limitations of requested product. <br />Review and analysis of extended warranty options from manufacturers. <br />Review and analysis of on-site service options from third party vendors. <br />Proposal for renegotiation of Contract Terms and Conditions. <br />Purchase Products <br />Purchase components for the Linear DIMS® Digital Asset Management Solution. <br />Purchase peripheral components for all additional required equipment. <br />Attempt to coordinate delivery schedules for direct ship product. <br />Linear Systems Confidential Page #22 of 66 <br />S.0 nye Po a PP 060405 eo <br />
