Downtown Development Policl; Statement <br /> <br />By the unanimous informal consent of the Council, the proposed policy <br />stat~ent relative to develol~nent in the downtown was deferred to the <br />evening session. <br /> <br />Councilmembers discussed their concerns relative to Consent Caleedar <br />i terns. <br /> <br />At 2:55 p.m., the Council recessed and reconvened in the Council <br />Chambers at 3:04 p.m., with all members present, except Councilmember <br />Young. <br /> <br />75. PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br /> MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL MORTGAGE REV~UE BONDS - <br /> TEFRA HEARING - 16TH & BUSH <br /> <br /> The Mayor opened the public hearing regarding the request by <br /> Pulliam Properties, Inc. that its 70-unit senior housing project <br /> located at the northeast corner of 16th Street and Bush be <br /> included in a Housing Authority multi-f~nily bond issue. <br /> <br /> Nancy Edwards, Housing Program Planner, presented the staff re- <br /> port and reco~anendations. <br /> <br /> Richard Andrews, representing Pulliam Properties, Inc., spoke <br /> in favor of the project. <br /> <br /> The Clerk of the Council reported no written cor~nunications. <br /> Miles Leach, 2025 W. 10th Street, spoke on the matter. <br /> <br /> There were no other speakers.
