<br />5. SHOPPING CART ORDINANCE DISCUSSION <br /> <br />Ben Kaufman presented an overview of the shopping cart ordinance and possible <br />outside ordinances to study. He will provide a briefing on the Buena Park ordinance <br />at the next meeting. <br /> <br />6. CURB STREET ADDRESS PAINTING <br /> <br />Will Hayes provided an overview on illegal street curb address painting. He outlined <br />four options for Council to consider. Julie Stroud will bring the issue to CommLink <br />and will present the results at the next NI/CE meeting. <br /> <br />7. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Glen Stroud asked how the city would control undesirable logos on the proposed <br />magnetic signs. Mr. Stroud also asked if permanent vending stations were <br />transferable or could be sublet to another vendor. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS <br /> <br />( <br /> <br />Councilmember Christy requested that Will Hayes provide a schedule with the routes <br />and daily routine of the City's contracted shopping cart retrieval company; and <br />requested. that Mr. Kaufman talk to Police Chief Walters about ice cream truck <br />enforcement issues, namely the diversification of sale items. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tern Bist requested a list of potential contacts for both the garage pre- <br />sale ordinance and the shopping cart ordinance. <br /> <br />9.
