The Contractor shall check all equipment (detector amplifiers, safety monitor, etc.) in the <br />cabinet for proper operation and determine all indicator lights are functional. <br /> <br />5. The Contractor shall tune or replace vehicle detector amplifiers as necessary. The <br />Contractor shall meter loops individually when troubleshooting loop for operation. <br /> <br />4. The Contractor shall check all pedestrian pads, microwave detections, and video <br />detections for proper operation. If necessary, The Contractor shall repair or replace the <br />device as an extraordinary maintenance item. <br /> <br />5. The Contractor shall check all pedestrian push buttons for proper operation. If necessary, <br />The Contractor shall repair or replace the pedestrian push button as an extraordinary <br />maintenance item. <br /> <br />6. The Contractor shall clean the solar panels for flashing beacons and flashing crosswalks <br />per manufacturer's specifications to remove all dust and particulate without any damage <br />to the panel. <br /> <br />7. The Contractor shall check all vehicle and pedestrian signal heads for proper operation. <br />The Contractor shall replace all burnout LED modules via City furnished LED traffic <br />signal modules and/or Neon pedestrian modules from the City and return burnout LED <br />modules to the City. <br /> <br />8. The Contractor shall inspect in-pavement flashing device to ensure that they all remain <br />securely in-place and properly activate from various directions with similar brightness. <br /> <br />9. The Contractor shall check all poles and standards. The Contractor shall log any <br />noteworthy conditions and notifY the City. <br /> <br />10. The Contractor shall place signal in pinned standby or forced standby while servicing the <br />intersection. <br /> <br />II. The Contractor shall notify the City on any graffiti that is on the signal equipment. It is <br />not the Contractor's responsibility to remove the graffiti. <br /> <br />12. The Contractor shall clean all vehicle and pedestrian signal face once a year. <br /> <br />13. The Contractor shall maintain a record log in each controller cabinet showing the date <br />and time of any service. It shall consist of three sheets. <br /> <br />a. Routine Maintenance <br />b. Extraordinary Maintenance <br />c. Extraordinary Conditions - Items of damage reports not readily repaired. <br /> <br />All records shall be legiblv written or printed. <br /> <br />14. The Contractor shall organize the cabinet record files as follow (front to rear): <br /> <br />a. Timing Sheet <br />b. Routine Maintenance <br />c. Extraordinary Maintenance <br />d. Extraordinary Condition <br />e. Cabinet Print <br /> <br />Any other documentation shall be given to the City. Such documentation shall indicate <br />location of origins. <br /> <br />2 <br />
