File No.: GRT04107176 <br /> <br />The County of Orange and the City of Santa Ana have entered into a cooperative agreement (County <br />Agreement No. D03-046 / City Agreement No. A-2005-059), which is attached hereto and incorporated <br />for reference to widen Warner Ave from Harbor Boulevard to the bridge crossing the Santa Ana River <br />Channel. This work includes reconstruction of SCE's driveway to its Talbert Substation and storm drain <br />improvements within the City of Santa Ana's jurisdiction on property belonging to SCE. The County of <br />Orange is acting on behalf of the City of Santa Ana for design and construction of the aforementioned <br />improvements. Upon County of Orange's filing of a "Notice of Completion" on the completed Project, <br />all responsibilities stipulated in this approval letter/ agreement will be relinquished to the City of Santa <br />Ana. <br /> <br />Southern California Edison (SCE), has reviewed and approved your request for construction of street <br />improvements, new driveway to Talbert Substation and storm drain as shown on the attached plans <br />entided "Plans for Construction of Warner Ave. Bridge Widening over Santa Ana River Channel" <br />sheet(s) 1 through 66, date stamped "Received Real Estate Operations Westminster" on August 19, 2004 <br />and Sheet L2-, D-l and Ex-2 date stamped "Real Estate Operations-Westminster on July 13, 2005. <br />Please note, this is not approval for any landscaping/irrigation issues associated with this project. Plans <br />must be submitted to SCE for review and approval under separate cover. <br /> <br />As a utility operating high voltage electric lines which serve a major portion of Southern California, <br />SCE's approval is granted subject to County of Orange and City of Santa Ana respective obligations to <br />comply with the conditions listed below to provide for the safety of others, to protect the electric <br />system from damage and to prevent service interruptions. <br /> <br />1. Adequate access to all structures must be provided and at no time is there to be any interference <br />with the free movement of SCE's equipment and materials. <br /> <br />2. At no time shall SCE's access to any pole or tower location or underground facilities be cut off <br />during any temporary grading operation. <br /> <br />3. All equipment working on SCE property must maintain a minimum clearance of 5-feet from all <br />SCE structures. A minimum of 11 feet for 66 kV must be maintained from all overhead <br />conductors as stated in the California Code of Regulations, Tide 8, Article 37, Table II, <br />Provisions for Preventing Accidents Due to the Proximity of Overhead Lines.
