<br />Civilian Paramedic III: <br />attain the educational <br />qualifications specified <br />additional twenty-four <br />(approximately 12%) above <br />monthly salary step. The <br />shall be as follows: <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />Any Paramedic personnel who <br />training and experience <br />below shall be paid an <br />(24) salary rate ranges <br />his or her then current base <br />criteria for such designation <br /> <br />1. Completion of at least one hundred and twenty (120) <br />college semester units (or equivalent quarter <br />units) with major course work in Fire Science, <br />Health Science, Nursing, Emergency Medical <br />Services, Social Services, Administration, Business <br />Management, Computer Science, Physics, Public <br />Heal th, Occupational Health and Safety, Law, <br />Psychology, Pharmacology, Education, etc., from an <br />accredited college or university; and <br /> <br />2. Completion of at least eight (8) points. A minimum <br />of four (4) points must be selected from <br />Certificates (7.4.D1). A minimum of two (2) points <br />must be from Specialized Duty Assignments (see <br />7.4 .D2) . <br /> <br />D. Elective Options: <br /> <br />1.
