<br />A. Guidelines. It shall be understood that all donations <br />under this procedure are voluntary and subject to <br />taxation for both the donor and recipient. <br /> <br />1. Employees may donate vacation or compensatory time <br />or one in-lieu holiday to the eligible employee. <br />In no event shall sick leave be donated. <br /> <br />2. Employees shall be provided a two-week period to <br />submi t donations. Donations received after this <br />two-week period shall not be processed. The two- <br />week period for each case shall be designated by <br />the Fire Chief or his or her designee as provided <br />below. <br /> <br />3. For employees who work a 24 hour tour-of-duty, the <br />donations shall be for a minimum of three hours and <br />a maximum of 12 hours per donor.
