<br />6. Equipment engines shall be maintained in good <br />condition and in proper tune according to <br />manufacturer's specifications. <br /> <br />C. Result in a cumulatively considerable net increase of <br />any criteria pollutant for which the project region is <br />non-attainment under an applicable federal or state <br />ambient air quality standard? <br /> <br />Less Than Significant Impact <br /> <br />The proposed proj ect would be consistent with the City's <br />General Plan and the local growth forecasts for the Orange <br />County sub region and regional emissions budget developed <br />by the Southern California Association of Governments for <br />the 1999 Air Quality Management Plan. SCAG has determined <br />that the air pollution impacts of any project that conforms <br />to local growth forecasts would be consistent with this <br />forecast and the regional air quality impacts would be <br />adequately mitigated by the Plan to a level considered less <br />than significant. <br /> <br />E. Create objectionable odors affecting a substantial number <br />of people? <br /> <br />Less Than Significant Impact <br /> <br />The long-term operation of the proposed proj ect would not <br />generate significant objectionable odors to the public. <br />Short-term construction operations could emit objectionable <br />odors. However, they would be short - term and would not be <br />considered significant. <br /> <br />IV. BIOLOGICAL RESOURCES <br /> <br />A. Have a substantial adverse impact, either directly or <br />through habitat modifications, on any species identified <br />as a candidate, sensitive or special status species in <br />local or regional plans, policies or regulations or by <br />the California Department of Fish and game or U. S. Fish <br />and Wildlife Services? <br /> <br />B. Have a substantial adverse impact on any riparian habitat <br />or natural community identified in local or regional <br />plans, policies, and regulations or by the California <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />758-23 <br />
