COUNCIL AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />Councilmember Young inquired as to whether staff had responded to <br />Barbara Rust, regarding use of CDBG funds relative to the Flood <br />Control Channel improvements; Deputy City Manager Swanson indicated <br />he would be responding, in writing, to her on July 22, 1986. <br /> <br />Councilmember Acosta informed the Council that Rent-a-Dent had <br />relocated, and was still apparently in violation of the Municipal <br />Code. The City Manager indicated that staff would investigate and <br />respond to Councilmember Acosta on July 22, 1986. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hart inquired as to whether staff had investigated a <br />complaint from Arlene Burch, relative to heavy traffic on Old Grand, <br />and indicated he would like a copy of staff's findings in the matter. <br /> <br />Councilmember McGuigan reported lots in need of weed abatement <br />adjacent to the Broadway overcrossing. <br /> <br />Councilmember Luxembourger inquired as to the status of the new <br />telephone system; Budget Manager Dave Borik reported that all lines <br />had been checked, and the new numbers were being broadcast on KCTY, <br />the City's Cable T.V. staton.
