EXHIBIT A-1 <br />CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR PRESSURE <br />WASHING AND CLEANING THE SIDEWALKS FOR DOWNTOWN SANTA <br />ANA <br />1.1 Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, equipment and transportation <br />necessary for the removal of stains and deposits from cement and brick paver <br />sidewalks as indicated on the attached map (Attachment 1) of the Downtown area <br />of the City of Santa Ana. The contract period shall commence on November 9, <br />2005 and continue through January 31, 2006. Said term may be extended for an <br />additional twelve (12) month period, upon the Agreement of the parties. <br />1.2.1 Cleaning will be required five (5) nights per week -Wednesday through Sunday, <br />depending on traffic and weather conditions. Contactor shall clean six (6) linear <br />blocks per night. <br />1.2.2 Contractor shall clean the colored sidewalks installed in the South Main Street <br />Enhancement project three (3) times per year, in November, February and May. <br />1.3 The areas to be cleaned are as indicated on the attached map (Attachment 1). <br />AREA <br />a. 8th Street, North and South side, from Bush Street to Main Street <br />b. Civic Center Drive, North and South side, from Bush Street to Broadway <br />c. 4`h Street and 5`h Street, North and South side, from Mortimor Street to <br />Ross Street <br />d. 3rd Street, North and South side, from French Street to Ross Street <br />e. 2"d Street, North and South side, from Spurgeon to Broadway <br />f. 1st Street, North and South side, from Mortimor Street to Ross Street <br />g. French Street, East and West side, from Santa Ana Blvd to 3`d Street <br />h. Spurgeon, East and West side from Santa Ana Blvd. to ] s` Street <br />i. Bush Street, West side from 8d' Street to Santa Ana Blvd., East and West <br />side from Santa Ana Blvd to lst Street <br />j. Main Street, East and West side, from 8`h Street to 1" Street <br />k. Sycamore, East and West side, from 8th Street to 1" Street <br />1. Broadway, East and West side, from Civic Center Drive to Is` Street <br />m. Ross Street, East and West side, from 5`h Street to ls` Street <br />1.4 Contractor will weekly provide to the Downtown Development Office, a written <br />update describing which blocks were cleaned. <br />
