1.5 The City reserves the right to order cleaning in specific areas. Areas shall be cleaned in any combination or sequence as determined by the Executive Director of the Community Development Agency or her designee. 1.6 The City will provide the water necessary to complete the cleaning of the sidewalks. 1.7 All work shall be performed between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., daily five (5) days per week. The work schedule must be coordinated with the Executive Director of the Community Development Agency or her designee. 1.8. Processes used by the Contractor shall leave the area clean and free of stains and all loose or embedded materials, including chewing gum. The Contractor shall remove all debris from the area; all water shall be captured using zero-dischazge technique and removal of all affluent from the sidewalks. The cleaning process shall not damage the concrete surfaces or the brick paver surface. The process shall not damage adjacent areas in any wa}~. The contractor will be responsible for al] damage to the surrounding areas. 1.9 The City reserves the right to suspend the work wholly or in part if deemed necessary for the best interest of the City. This suspension will be without compensation to the Contractor, other than to adjust the contract completion / delivery requirements. 1.10 Contractor shall timely perform the services required by this Agreement. Delays, if due to no fault or neglect of the Contractor, may entitle the Contractor to an extension of time allowed for completing the work. Contractor must notify the City of any such delay. 1.11 The Contractor, shall each morning remove all supplies, materials, debris, rubbish, etc. caused by the operation and leave the finished site in a neat, orderly condition. All walls and glass door entries shall be free of dirty water and/or mud stains. 1.12 All sidewalk gutters must be cleaned of all gum and other debris and substances. 1.13 The cleaning process shall use hot water under high pressure for the most effective cleaning. The temperature of the water is to be 250*F minimum. 1.14 All gum must be removed from the pavers, concrete and other sidewalk surfaces. I.15 Pressure washing shall include the areas behind the sidewalk benches, bus stop areas, and other structures located on the outside of the buildings on the sidewalk, 1.16 Bus stop areas are to be cleaned of all debris, gum, dirt and grime.
