9. Vehicles <br />A White and Yellow Cab Inc. offers late model vehicles for use at The Depot. All vehicles <br />are OCTAP approved for service. Vehicle selection includes Ford Windstar mini -vans, Ford <br />Crown Victorias, and Lincoln Towncar taxis. We are able to carry up to six passengers for <br />the price of one in our mini -vans. All vehicles are uniform in appearance with all decals <br />consistent and of the same color scheme. <br />Primary and Backup drivers will have the benefit of paid, unlimited car washes through a <br />Santa Ana carwash to ensure maximum vehicle appearance. A monthly fee of $60 per ve- <br />hicle is paid to allow unlimited use of facilities. Drivers will be required to complete a <br />thorough wash and interior cloth down a minimum of a daily basis. <br />Preventive maintenance and maintenance are completed in house through company mechan- <br />ics. Our lead mechanic has over 25 years experience working on Ford and Lincoln vehicles. <br />Our experience with contracted maintenance providers has proved insufficient as quality <br />control is negligible. <br />The Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance program. Inspections are <br />done on a weekly basis by the manager and the lead mechanic. Yearly inspections by <br />OCTAP are supplemented by quarterly safety inspections by the Fleet Manager. The impor- <br />tance of a lease driver who is required to come in for inspection is critical here as taxi ve- <br />hicles typically generate high mileage needs. Preventive maintenance is typically scheduled <br />on off -peak days and hours to allow drivers the convenience of efficiency. <br />See Attachment 4 <br />
