Custom Tours d.b.a.
Kushner and Associates (Kushnerdmc.com), was in need of on demand and on site wheel-
chair vehicle access. "Jonathan De Carr of Custom Tours contracted with A Taxi Cab to
provide City of Anaheim licensed taxicab service to its convention attendees. A Taxi Cab
was able to station its wheelchair vehicle for a period of 6"straight,days for the exclusive
purpose of responding to Anaheim Convention Cdhtet tieeds. The "unavailability, and non-
existence of wheelchair accessible taxicab vehicles with A Taxi Cab's competition allowed
us a chance to spotlight the need for such vehicles during major conventions and within the
Anaheim Resort Area.
Similar Experience - Maior Anaheim Hotels 7
Anaheim hotels appreciate the appearance of our taxis du eheir cleanliness, unif rmed
drivers, and vehicle choice. Our taxis are stationed at the Anaheim Marriott, Anaheim
Hilton, Anaheim Sheraton, Disneyland hotel, California Grand hotel, and Disneyland Park to
ensure a speedy response to service calls. Taxis line up and are called forward by staff when
needed. These stands also serve as locations at which taxicabs can take Digital Dispatch
calls and respond within minutes to the surrounding area. These stands are kept full during
peak periods with taxis available within minutes during off peak hours. The road supervisor
and operations manager routinely make inspections on these taxicabs at the stands.
Disneyland Park is the grand attraction of the Anaheim Resort Area, relying upon profes-
sional and efficient taxi service for its patrons. At the opening time of the gates, we bring
the majority of tourists and visitors in at the opening time. Guests of Disneyland expect the
best and receive it. Our services are an extension of the Disney philosophy, a philosophy of
Service Excellence. We also coordinate the closing time of the gates and peak periods with
our drivers through the road supervisor and dispatcher to take these same people back to
their hotels.
