This same concept is viable for The Depot.
Our driver experience with a diverse array of passenger professionals and backgrounds has
allowed us to culture a professional core of drivers. Seasoned drivers are aware of the
diverse destinations throughout Orange County required by convention attendees. The
destinations of out of town attendees typically include:
Orange County shopping malls, transportation centers, amusement parks, beaches, city halls,
places `of otable interest, business destinations and bu§k&s parks, various private and
public airports, restaurants, and throughout Southern California.
Anaheim Marriott. Anaheim I-lilton and Towers, and Disneyland properties.
i Y4eaauvuw.aa Luc- n+awarauaaw,a.y;..: . <. . _ _ .. $'"°'w •eats:
Dt and properties. Taxis line up and are called forward by s when needed. These
stands are kept full during peak periods with taxis available within minutes during off peak
hours. The road supervisor and operations manager routinely make inspections on these
taxicabs at the stands. The intemational flavor of those guests have trained our drivers to be
more understanding in the are of communication with the passenger.
Arrowhead Pond and Edison Field
The Arrowhead Pond and Edison Field are also major sources of passenger traffic we have
managed. Our dispatchers inform all drivers of the start and end times of events, coordinat-
ing the staging of vehicles in critical areas and disseminating the latest ftffic and construc-
tion information.
We are rarely called for service at these mega events as we have our strategic lines placed for
quick and efficient transportation. When event staff calls us our response is quick. Our
drivers are instructed as to the quickest way to pickup and drop off to make these events as
smooth as possible, regardless of traffic or unforeseen demand.
Countywide experience
1(800)4MY TAXI drivers field from 700 -1000 calls a day during the week and up to 1400
on the weekends. This high volume of calls means that drivers are constantly busy and
working throughout the county . Our drivers cover the following communities and are autho-
rized to drop off anywhere. This volume level shows the general experience of our drivers.
Account experience
All primary drivers listed in this proposal are responsible for several major accounts. They
serve major hospitals and medical centers, corporate businesses, and non -profit organiza-
tions in addition to their stand and "street call' experience.
