I. Mandatory Job Walk ThrouA June 15th, 2005 <br />On June 15th, 2005 at 10 A.M., A White and Yellow Inc. General Manager Bill Gray was <br />present for the mandatory walk through and meeting with Carolyn Fullerton at The Depot, <br />Santa Ana. Also in attendance were representatives from Yellow Cab and Star Tarsi. Notice- <br />ably absent was a representative from California /Yellow Crab. Carolyn. Fullerton identified <br />several issues of the ItFP. � <br />- A need for courtesy Phone service <br />Nbxcourtesyphones have ever b pl The Depot a taxi p o.viid� err., The DDepot� <br />requests them in this I2FP. <br />- A need for non contract companies / associates to keep their taxis off the 1!royerty <br />Taxi drivers have friendly relationships with drivers from various companies and at times <br />they will park next to or pull up next to contract companies in line to converse. These driv- <br />ers may also attempt to put themselves in line to service passengers or be present in the <br />surrounding area and attempt to service passengers when there are no contract company taxis <br />present. <br />- Bandit taxi companies attempt to pick up at The Depot <br />Unmarked, uninsured, and unlicensed persons attempt to solicit business, especially during <br />off peak hours when the contract company may not be present. <br />contractor. <br />II. Observation Results Items / Issues <br />Observations of A White and Yellow Cab Inc. / Identification of areas of improvement <br />A White and Yellow Cab Inc. has identified certain areas of improvement to the current <br />operation. <br />Parking Area <br />The taxi staging area is in need of seriou rbishmem. e n for the taxi stand itself is <br />deteriorated and peeling. Also, the sign indicaf name of the taxi company is incorrect. <br />It reads "Coast Yellow Cab ". It sho "Yellow Ca orth Orange County". The <br />curbs that are painted yello tte and red are remnants of multi racked, and peeling <br />paint. The a erneath the taxi cabs is oil soaked and stained in spo a yellow <br />markings indicating 4 stalls for the taxis are faded and virtually nonexistent. <br />
